Three Phase AC Power Supply | Adjustable 520V 200Hz AC Source for Motor & Industrial Test

If you work with three‑phase equipment, a single‑phase supply won't cut it. Motors, drives, rectifiers – they need three phases with correct phase angles and balanced voltage. The Three Phase AC Power Supply gives you that. It's a solid‑state frequency converter that takes whatever three‑phase power you have (380‑480V, 50 or 60Hz) and outputs clean, adjustable three‑phase AC. Voltage from 0 to 520V line‑line. Frequency from 45 to 200Hz. Enough for most motor testing, drive development, and avionics benches. We built this for people who test three‑phase gear every day. It's not a lab curiosity – it's a tool you'll use for years.

Three Phase AC Power Supply Main Features

  • Three independent displays – Shows voltage and current for each phase. Helpful for spotting imbalances.
  • Phase angle adjustable – Not on this model (fixed at 120°). For variable phase, see our PQT series.
  • Overload curve – 125% for 60 seconds, 150% for 10 seconds. Handles motor inrush.
  • Remote sense optional – Compensates for long output cables. Order the -RS option.

Why Choose ACSOON Three Phase AC Power Supply?

  • Real three‑phase output – 120° ±1° phase angle. Balanced voltage even under load.
  • Wide range – 0‑520V and 45‑200Hz covers motor nameplates from 208V to 480V, 50Hz to 60Hz, plus variable speed testing.
  • Isolated output – Transformer between inverter and load. No ground loops, safe for scope probes.
  • Simple to run – Voltage and frequency knobs, output on/off. No programming required.

Three Phase AC Power Supply Application Areas

  • Motor test stands – Run induction motors at different speeds. Measure current, torque, temperature.
  • VFD development – Feed clean three‑phase into a drive input, or use it as a variable source for the output.
  • Avionics shops – Many military and commercial aircraft use 115V 400Hz three‑phase. This unit delivers.
  • Industrial power supplies – Test three‑phase rectifiers and switch‑mode supplies at varying line conditions.

Our Services

Quality Control
01

Quality Control

  • Every unit burned in – 4 hours at 80% load. Then 1 hour at 100%. Check for hot spots.

  • Phase balance checked – Voltage on each phase measured at 10 points. Must be within 0.5% of each other.

  • Overload test – 125% for 60 seconds, then 150% for 10 seconds. No trips allowed.

  • Final human inspection – Knobs, displays, connectors. One person signs off.

02

R&D Results

  • Transformer design – First version used three separate single‑phase transformers. Too heavy. Switched to one three‑phase core. Lighter, smaller, cooler.

  • Control loop – Original algorithm caused voltage dip when switching from 50Hz to 60Hz. Tuned it. Now seamless.

  • Fan placement – Moved fans to the top. Heat rises. Pulls air through the whole cabinet, not just the bottom.

  • Customer request – Added a "phase rotation"switch on the front. Flip it to change L1‑L2‑L3 to L1‑L3‑L2 without rewiring.

FAQ

Q1: Can I run a single‑phase load off this three‑phase unit?
A: Yes, but only on one phase. The other two phases will sit idle. The unit will still regulate correctly, but you're wasting capacity. If you only ever run single‑phase loads, buy our single‑phase model – it's cheaper.
Q2: What's the difference between this and a variable frequency drive (VFD)?
A: A VFD outputs PWM with high harmonics. This unit outputs a pure sine wave. That matters for testing motors at low speed (where PWM causes heating) or for powering sensitive electronics. For just spinning a fan, a VFD is fine. For measurement, use this.
Q3: Can I parallel two units for more power?
A: No. They'll fight over the load. We make larger single units up to 200kVA three‑phase. Ask sales.
Q4: Does it work with 400Hz loads?
A: The standard model goes to 200Hz. For 400Hz, order the -400 option. Same voltage range, but frequency goes to 500Hz. The transformer is different – costs a bit more.
Q5: What's the lead time from Xi'an?
A: 3‑4 weeks for standard models. The -400 version takes 5‑6 weeks.
