- Product Description
General Purpose AC Power Source | Reliable Variable Frequency AC Supply for Test & Production
You don't always need lab‑grade precision or a thousand programmable sequences. Sometimes you just need a solid AC source that gives you adjustable voltage and frequency without a lot of fuss. That's what the General Purpose AC Power Source is for. It's a workhorse. We stripped out the expensive extras – complex waveform generation, high‑precision measurement, multi‑step sequencing – and kept the core: a clean, stable, adjustable AC output that you can trust for daily test and production work. The controls are analog‑style knobs. The display shows what you need. It runs all day without complaining. We sell these to small electronics assemblers, motor repair shops, and university labs that don't have a big budget but still need variable AC power. They're not fancy. They just work.

General Purpose AC Power Source Main Features
- Dual voltage range – 0‑150V and 0‑300V (L‑N). Toggle switch on the front panel.
- Frequency range – 45‑200Hz. Covers 50Hz, 60Hz, and 100Hz/200Hz for motor and avionics work.
- Isolation transformer – Standard. Protects your device from ground loops and line spikes.
- Overload protection – 125% for 60 seconds. Trip resets automatically when the load drops.

Why Choose ACSOON General Purpose AC Power Source?
- Simple to use – Two knobs for voltage and frequency. One output button. No menus, no training required.
- Clean enough – THD under 3% at full load. Fine for motors, lights, power supplies, and most electronics.
- Built to last – All steel chassis, oversized transformer, no plastic gears. You'll retire before it does.
- Good value – No expensive features you don't need. Just solid adjustable AC power at a fair price.
General Purpose AC Power Source Application Areas
- Production functional test – Run product acceptance tests at different voltages and frequencies. Switch between 50Hz and 60Hz in seconds.
- Motor burn‑in – Run fractional HP motors at reduced voltage or variable speed. The 200Hz top end covers most small induction and universal motors.
- Lighting test – Simulate line voltage variations for LED drivers, ballasts, and dimmers. The 0‑300V range covers 120V, 230V, 277V.
- Repair shop – Power up repaired equipment that needs 115V or 230V at 50Hz or 60Hz. One unit handles both.

Our Services

Quality Control
Every unit tested – 2 hours at 80% load, then 1 hour at 100% load. We check for any drift or heating.
Output checked – Voltage and frequency accuracy measured at 5 points. Record kept with the unit.
Overload trip test – We apply 150% load for 10 seconds. Unit must trip and reset correctly.
Final inspection – Front panel, connectors, and fan noise checked by a human, not a machine.
R&D Results
Customer feedback – A motor shop asked for a lower minimum frequency. We pushed it down to 45Hz. Works fine for slow run‑in.
Fan noise complaint – Early units had a loud fan. We switched to a larger, slower fan. Much quieter.
Knob durability – We changed from plastic to aluminum knobs after one customer wore out the originals in three years.
Output cable strain relief – Added a heavier clamp. Too many field repairs from people pulling on the cable.

Packaging and Transportation
Shipped from Xi'an in a double‑wall carton with custom foam inserts.
Included – Power cord, output cable (2m with universal outlet), printed quick start.
Manual – Full manual on USB. Also available for download.
Pallet for bulk – Six units per pallet, shrink‑wrapped.
After‑Sales Service
1‑year warranty on parts and labor.
Spare parts (IGBTs, fans, control board) kept in Xi'an. Ship express worldwide.
Email support – We usually answer within one business day.

Qualification Certification
CE – LVD and EMC tested;ISO 9001:2015 – Our Xi'an factory;RoHS – All components.

FAQ |
---
Q1: Can this unit run a three‑phase motor?
A: No, this is single‑phase output. For three‑phase motors, buy our AF60W‑330xxx model (three‑phase output). Same simple controls, just three phases.
Q2: Is the output isolated from the input?
A: Yes. There's a transformer between the inverter and the output terminals. You can float the output or ground one side – your choice.
Q3: What's the frequency accuracy at 400Hz?
A: This model only goes to 200Hz. If you need 400Hz for avionics, buy our ACSW series (goes to 500Hz). The AF60W is a general‑purpose unit, not a precision 400Hz source.
Q4: Can I control it remotely?
A: Not on the base model. There's no RS485 port. If you need remote control, order the AF60W‑R version. Adds Modbus and a few hundred dollars.
Q5: What's the lead time from Xi'an?
A: Stock units ship in 1‑2 weeks. Custom voltage or frequency ranges add 2‑3 weeks.
