Single Phase AC Power Supply | Variable Voltage & Frequency AC Source for Single‑Phase Loads

Most of what you plug into a wall is single‑phase. And most of what you test in a lab is single‑phase. So why buy a three‑phase supply if you don't need it? The Single Phase AC Power Supply gives you all the features of our bigger units, but for one phase only. Same IGBT technology, same isolation transformer, same clean output. Just cheaper and smaller. We designed this for people who never work with three‑phase motors or industrial drives. If your world is 120V or 230V, 50Hz or 60Hz, this is your tool. Turn the knobs, get the voltage and frequency you want, and test your stuff. No learning curve.

Single Phase AC Power Supply

Single Phase AC Power Supply Main Features

  • Dual voltage range – 0‑150V and 0‑300V. Switch on the front panel.

  • Frequency from 45 to 200Hz – Handles 50Hz, 60Hz, and 100Hz/200Hz motor work.

  • Isolated output – Transformer between inverter and output. No ground loops, safe for scope probes.

  • Output enable with soft start – Voltage ramps up smoothly. No sudden spike when you turn it on.

Single Phase AC Power Supply

Why Choose ACSOON Single Phase AC Power Supply?

  • No wasted hardware – You're not paying for two extra phases you'll never use.

  • Smaller and lighter – Fits on a bench without a forklift. Moves easily between workstations.

  • Simple controls – Voltage knob, frequency knob, output button. That's it.

  • Same power quality – THD under 3%, regulation within 1%. Clean enough for any single‑phase load.

Single Phase AC Power Supply Application Areas

  • Motor testing – Run fractional HP induction motors, universal motors, shaded‑pole motors at different speeds and voltages.

  • Power supply development – Test AC‑DC converters, battery chargers, and LED drivers at varying line conditions.

  • Lighting – Dim LED fixtures, test ballasts, run UV lamps for curing. The 0‑300V range covers 277V industrial lighting.

  • Repair shops – Power up any single‑phase device from a vacuum cleaner to a microwave. One unit covers 100‑240V, 50/60Hz.

Our Services

Quality Control
01

Quality Control

  • Every unit burned in – 2 hours at 80% load. Then 30 minutes at 100%. Thermal camera check.

  • Output verified – Voltage and frequency accuracy checked at five set points. Record kept.

  • Isolation test – 2kV between input and output for one minute. Leakage under 5mA.

  • Final visual – Human inspects knobs, display, and connectors before packing.

02

R&D Results

  • Customer feedback – Repair shops asked for more rugged output terminals. Switched from plastic to nickel‑plated brass binding posts.

  • Fan noise – Early units had the fan running all the time. Too loud for a quiet bench. Now it only runs when needed.

  • Knob guards – Added low‑profile guards so you don't accidentally bump the voltage knob while reaching for the output button.

  • Transformer optimization – Reduced core size by 15% without increasing temperature rise. Lighter, still runs cool.

FAQ

Q1: Can I use this to run a three‑phase motor?
A: No. This is single‑phase output. For three‑phase motors, buy our AF60W‑330xxx series. That's three identical phases, 0‑520V line‑line.
Q2: What's the difference between this and a variac?
A: A variac is just a variable transformer. It doesn't regulate. Your output voltage sags when you load it. This unit actively regulates – it holds ±1% from no load to full load. Plus you get adjustable frequency and isolation.
Q3: Can I parallel two units for more current?
A: Not recommended. They may fight each other. For more power, buy a larger single unit. We make up to 15kVA single‑phase.
Q4: Is the output truly floating?
A: Yes. The output transformer secondary is isolated from the primary. You can ground one side or leave it floating. No connection to input neutral or ground.
Q5: What's the lead time from Xi'an?
A: 3 weeks for 1‑5kVA. 4 weeks for 10‑15kVA (transformers built to order).
