- Product Description
Sometimes a fixed pit isn't practical. You have multiple parking spots, or you're doing line maintenance away from the gate. That's where the Airfield GPU Cart comes in. It's a 60kVA solid‑state GPU on a compact towable chassis. Hook it to a tug or a pickup, pull it wherever you need 400Hz power, plug into any 400V outlet, and you're running. We kept it simple. No complex programming. Just voltage trim and output on/off. The cart is narrow enough to fit between parked aircraft. The manual cable reel keeps the ramp tidy. It's built for daily shunting, not for permanent installation.

Airfield GPU Cart Main Features
- Manual cable reel – 25m of 400Hz cable. Crank to retract. No motor to fail.
- Fork pockets – If you don't want to tow it, a forklift can move it.
- Weather sealed – IP54. Rain, snow, ramp wash – no problem.
- Auto voltage compensation – Adjusts output for cable drop. The aircraft gets the right voltage.

Why Choose ACSOON Airfield GPU Cart?
- Move it yourself – Tow bar and pneumatic tires. One person can position it.
- Compact – Narrow chassis fits through standard service doors. No special permits.
- Same power as pit units – 60kVA, 400Hz, clean sine wave. No compromise.
- Simple to operate – One output button, one voltage dial. Ground crew learns in five minutes.
Airfield GPU Cart Application Areas
- Line maintenance – Park it next to the aircraft, run avionics checks and systems tests.
- Cargo ramps – No fixed power at freighter stands. This cart moves with the load.
- Backup for pit failures – Keep one on standby. If a pit GPU goes down, roll this in.
- General aviation FBOs – Power visiting turboprops and light jets without building infrastructure.

Our Services

Quality Control
Every unit road tested – Towed around the factory yard for 20 minutes. Check welds, tires, brakes.
Electrical burn‑in – 2 hours at 60kVA, then 90kVA for 60 seconds.
Cable reel cycle – Extend and retract 50 times. No jams, no loose connections.
Final human sign‑off – Someone inspects every weld, bolt, and label.
R&D Results
Caster choice – First version had small hard wheels. Too hard to turn. Switched to larger pneumatic casters. Much easier.
Tow bar attachment – Original was a fixed tongue. Got in the way when hand‑pushing. Changed to removable tow bar with a pin.
Cable reel crank – Customers wanted a folding crank handle. Added one. Stores flat against the side.
Ground lug placement – Moved to the front. Easier to reach without crawling under the cart.

Packaging and Transportation
Shipped from Xi'an – Cart secured to a flat skid with straps. Fits in a 20ft container.
Cable reel already mounted – No assembly. Just unstrap and roll off.
Documentation – Laminated quick guide, full manual on USB, tire pressure label.
Extra – Spare fuse for the input breaker included.
After‑Sales Service
1‑year warranty – Covers electronics and mechanical parts. Tires are consumable.
Spare parts (fan, IGBTs, caster wheels) kept in Xi'an. Ship express.
Email support – We'll help you troubleshoot. Include photos of any damage.

Qualification Certification
CE – Electrical safety and EMC;MIL‑STD‑704F – Output tested. Report available;ISO 9001:2015 – Our Xi'an facility.

FAQ |
---
Q1: Can I tow this with a regular car?
A: Yes, but a car is overkill. A golf cart or small tug works fine. The cart weighs about what a loaded golf cart does. The tow bar accepts a standard 50mm ball.
Q2: Does it need a three‑phase outlet?
A: Yes, 400V three‑phase, 63A. If you only have single‑phase, we have a 28V DC cart. This is 400Hz AC.
Q3: How long is the input power cable?
A: Standard is 5m with a 63A CEE plug. You can order a longer cable (10m or 15m) – specify when ordering.
Q4: Can I leave it outside in the rain?
A: Yes, IP54 rated. It can sit on the ramp in weather. But don't leave it in a puddle – raise the cart on the parking brake if standing water is likely.
Q5: Lead time from Xi'an?
A: 4‑5 weeks. We build the cart chassis in batches. Ask sales if we have one ready.
