Standard GPUs have limits. Below -20°C, the electronics get sluggish. Above 50°C, they overheat. In a sandstorm, filters clog. The All Weather GPU was built for places where normal equipment fails.It has a sealed IP56 cabinet – no sand getting in. A thermostatically controlled heater keeps internals above freezing in Arctic conditions. Oversized fans and a bypass filter handle 55°C desert heat. The same clean 400Hz power, just in a box that doesn't care where you put it.We ship these to military bases in Alaska, mining sites in the Sahara, and offshore platforms in the North Sea. They run. No special shelters required.

Quality Control
Cold chamber test – Every unit runs at -30°C for 2 hours. Heater must hold internal temp above 0°C.
Hot chamber test – 55°C for 4 hours at full load. No over‑temp alarms.
IP56 water test – High‑pressure spray from all directions for 10 minutes. No water inside.
Sand test – Blown sand against the intake for 30 minutes. Filter catches it.
R&D Results
Heater placement – First unit had heater near the top. Heat rose, bottom stayed cold. Moved to the bottom. Much better.
Filter design – Original filter clogged fast in heavy dust. Switched to a cyclonic pre‑filter. Lasts 10x longer.
Door seals – Used automotive‑grade bulb seals. Stays flexible down to -40°C. No cracking.
Customer feedback – An Arctic operator wanted a way to check internal temp without opening the door. Added a display on the outside.
Packaging and Transportation
Shipped from Xi'an – On a heavy skid, bolted down, covered with a breathable waterproof cover.
No crate needed for domestic – The unit itself is the crate. For export, add a wooden crate.

FAQ
Q1: Do I need a separate power source for the heater?
A: No. The heater runs off the input power when the unit is plugged in. No extra connection.
Q2: Can I use this in a cold climate without the heater?
A: Not recommended. Electrolytic capacitors lose capacitance below -10°C. The heater keeps them warm. Without it, the unit may fail to start.
Q3: Is the filter washable?
A: The primary foam filter is washable. The secondary paper filter is not – replace it. We include one spare.
Q4: What's the difference between IP56 and IP54?
A: IP54 is dust‑protected and splashing water. IP56 is dust‑tight and high‑pressure water jets (hose down). This unit can be pressure‑washed from a distance.
Q5: Lead time from Xi'an?
A: 5‑6 weeks. The heater and sealed enclosure are built to order.
