You could ship a standard GPU on a pallet, but then you've got a loose unit that needs shelter, cabling, and security.The Containerized 400Hz GPU solves that. It's a complete 90kVA or 180kVA 400Hz power station built inside a standard 20ft shipping container. The unit is bolted to the floor. The input and output cables come out through armored ports. There's a work light, a small panel for controls, and lockable doors. Drop it off a truck, connect the aircraft, turn it on.We've supplied these to military logistics units, oil exploration companies, and event organizers. They like that it's self‑contained. Container modified in‑house – We cut ports, mount the GPU, test the seal.
Water spray test – Doors closed, hose from all sides. No leaks inside.
Forklift test – Lifted on fork pockets, carried 50m. No shifting.
Full electrical burn‑in – Same as standard GPU: 2 hours at full load.

R&D Results

Customer feedback – A military unit asked for a way to see the display without opening the doors. Added a small window with a cover.
Cable reel position – First version had the reel near the door. Cables got tangled. Moved to the back wall. Much better.
Heater placement – Added a thermostat and heater after a unit in Alaska froze up. Now standard for cold regions.
Lighting – Installed LED work lights inside. Powered from the GPU input. No separate battery

Q1: Does the container have its own generator?
A: Not standard. This unit needs external three‑phase power. We can add a diesel generator inside – ask about the GPU400‑330090‑CG. That's a generator plus GPU inside the same container.

Q2: Can I stack another container on top?
A: No. The roof is modified for cable ports. Not rated for stacking weight.

Q3: How do I connect input power?
A: There's a cam‑type panel on the outside. Your electrician connects a cable from your generator or grid. We don't supply the input cable – length varies by site.

Q4: Can I airlift it?
A: Yes, it has crane lift rings. The empty container plus GPU weighs under what a CH‑47 can lift. Check your aircraft's load limit.

Q5: Lead time from Xi'an?
A: 8‑10 weeks. Container modifications take time. We keep one 90kVA unit in stock for emergencies – ask sales.
