Q1: What does 'Four-Quadrant' or 'Bi-directional' operation mean?
A: It means the supply can provide positive voltage/current (source, quadrant I) to charge a battery AND absorb power by providing negative current at a positive voltage (sink, quadrant IV) to discharge it, regenerating energy back to the AC line. This eliminates the need for a separate, wasteful dummy load.
Q2: Can it simulate real-world driving profiles for EV battery testing?
A: Yes. When paired with our test software, it can import or create dynamic power profiles that replicate real driving cycles (e.g., WLTP, UDDS), applying them precisely to the battery under test.
Q3: How is this different from using a standard DC supply and a separate electronic load?
